The Outpatient Detox Program offers outpatient treatment to adult patients by assisting individuals who are medically stable, willing and able to engage in concurrent treatment services to safety relieve the symptom, of withdrawals from substances of dependencies. This allows the client to remain with his or her family and the continuances of work while receiving treatment.
About Our Program
The program will educate, treat, and develop the understanding of addiction and the recovery process for the individual and their support group to include family, friend, and peer groups. This is a 7 day a week program for a period of seven (7) to twenty-one (21) days to include medical monitoring, and group/individual counseling for a minimum of six (6) hours weekly after which the client will be moved immediately to ADAPT’S intensive outpatient counseling program. ADAPT’S detox program provides an alternative to inpatient hospital detoxification.
Our Staff
Outpatient detox staff will be trained in substance abuse related issues and have intensive training dedicated to Outpatient detoxification to include treatment strategies and medical monitoring. Each patient is individually assessed by the detox team to determine the eligibility of the patient after completing physical examination, substance use and medical history, the Medical Director or medical designee determines medications and protocols needed, and authorizes the admission to Outpatient detoxification treatment. A licensed counselor will conduct individual sessions and develop treatment and discharge plans to fit the needs of each individual patient.
Outpatient detoxification is the start of a continuum of care dealing with substance use disorders, ADAPT Programs will provide quality services in a non judgement, culturally sensitive manner for patients and their families.
ADAPT Programs will conduct a financial assessment for each patient, and adhere to the criteria and assessment policies of Texas Department of State Health Services. The Federal Poverty Guidelines shall determine state funding, however private insurance, and self-pay arrangements are available.
